Following the February 2024 Masterclasses part of the Art Beyond Borders project, the Silence in Art performance will take place at the Mihai Perian Hall of the "Ion Vidu" Art High School, involving the mentors and the 40 active participants.
The masterclasses were aimed at the transdisciplinary study of the arts, at the Faculty of Arts and Design and at the "Ion Vidu" Art High School. The participants were high-school students who explored silence in four arts - theater, dance, music and plastic arts -, with mentors from Paris, Bucharest and Timișoara.
The project is part of the national cultural program "Timișoara European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is financed by the Power Station+ program | Creative schools, run by the Center for Projects of the Municipality of Timișoara, with amounts allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
