The Tourist Information Center invites the visitors to discover Timișoara or rather parts of Timișoara from new and provocative angles. Fresh and revelatory light is shed on familiar sights and emblematic landmarks in the city, while the buried threads of less known sites are followed up to their current significance. By breaking it down to one common element, the exhibition deals with the impact of tourism in present societies whose pervasive effects go beyond the travel and leisure economy and can be felt in all aspects of life from labor to housing, from cultural consumption to war production.
