We will reconstruct, together with master carpenters, burnt elements from the structure of the church in Povergina, using traditional woodworking techniques. The workshops are participative and want to contribute to the hands-on education of the general public, regarding the technical and constructive component of wooden heritage objects. They are dedicated to anyone, addressing the 16+ age category, and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
