Video mapping The Tale of Our Cities

On September 16, Piața Sfântul Gheorghe will transformed into a space for the experience of our European identity.

By combining different forms of media and art, together with the Psihodrom team, we will create an immersive space, which, through sounds and images, will convey the common story of four European cities - Timișoara, Szeged, Subotica and Odesa. Taking as a starting point the common elements of Secession (Art Nouveau) architecture from the beginning of the last century, the performance explores themes and motifs used in the architectural plastic of the four cities.

We invite you to join us starting 21:00 in the square, for an immersive audio-visual show about the identity of Timișoara from the point of view of cultural heritage, on a local and Euroregional level.

Psihodrom is an artistic group from Timișoara. Its aim is to express their artistic visions in scenography, video art, video mapping and contemporary art installations. Currently, it focuses on providing a framework for artistic expression to its members, through various collaborative creative activities.

Organized by the Association Prin Banat, the Common Heritage - The Tale of Four Cities project is part of the national cultural program "Timișoara - European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is financed by the European Echoes program, run by the Centrul de Proiecte Timișoara, with amounts allocated from the state budget, through the budget of Ministerul Culturii.
