Intuitive painting workshops are held on Monday, April 15, May 13 and May 20, online, for teachers from the Banat National College in Timișoara and Secondary School no. 7 Sfânta Maria, by the facilitator specialized in art therapy and the psychotherapist Anca Ghearasamescu, assistant professor at the Art Therapy Training accredited by COPSI within the Romanian Association of Expressive Therapies.

The three online sessions provide an introduction to using the visual arts as a means of creative exploration and expression. Participants will learn how to integrate artistic techniques into activities with children, thus developing their creativity and expressiveness.

At the end of the 3 courses, the participants will have basic knowledge about:

• identifying situations in which one can introduce techniques inspired by art in working with children (individual and group)
• building your own activities with techniques inspired by art
• using creative materials for personal purposes
• identifying creative blockages in students and methods to stimulate creativity and overcome blockages
• a way of accompanying the student in creating an original work
• finding your own creative voice

The three modules have a predominantly practical weight, with some theoretical aspects. At the end, teachers will have a set of exercises and individual and group activities that they can use in the classroom, as well as techniques to create their own activities.
