Bolyai200-Art-Science Fest
The city needs the (re)discovery of values that can contribute to strengthening the sense of pride, of personalities that inspire today's citizens, that connect the city to European networks, that stimulate the appetite for knowledge and creativity. The interdisciplinary cultural festival is linked to the promotion of the personality of Bolyai, placing him on the map of local memory and identity through the famous statement formulated right in Timișoara 200 years ago: "out of nothing, I have created a new world."
The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
