George Enescu International Festival is coming to Timișoara, the European Capital of Culture 2023!
During the festival days, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the music of world-renowned orchestras, including Ensemble Intercontemporain, Fine Arts Quartet, Camerata Bern, Manchester Camerata, and Romanian Chamber Orchestra, who will take the stage at the Capitol Hall of the Banatul Philharmonic.
From September 3 to 20, there will be 6 exceptional concerts conducted by Pierre Bleuse, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Martijn Dendievel, Vlad Vizireanu, and Gabriel Bebeșelea.
The project is organized by the Music Scene Association, part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara European Capital of Culture in 2023," and is funded through the Overborder Culture+ programme, carried out by the Timiș County Center for Culture and Art, with funding allocated from the state budget through Ministry of Culture
