Textile waste is the 4th biggest pollution source in EU and both our country and Timișoara are contributing to this fact.
Through this project we aim tackling overproduction, overconsumption, compulsive and irresponsible buying habits, as well as the problem of increasing quantities of textile waste and the need to reduce its impact on the environment. Through this project we aim to meet these problems and needs and facilitate the consumption reduction as well as creating resources for reusing and recycling textile waste.
The main aim of this event is to consolidate different artistical actions which could lead to future responsible citizens which are aware of every action’s impact on the environment and ready to act efficiently for pollution reduction.
Acest proiect face parte din Programul cultural național „Timișoara – Capitală Europeană a Culturii în anul 2023” și este finanțat prin programul Grow Timișoara 2023, derulat de Centrul de Proiecte al Municipiului Timișoara, cu sume alocate de la bugetul de stat, prin bugetul Ministerului Culturii.
