A major event that brings Hungarian culture, music, gastronomy and traditions to the fore.
Hungarian Cultural Days Timisoara 2023, a celebration of multiculturalism. The main concept of the festival is to promote and consolidate Hungarian culture at four levels - local culture and cultural offer in Timișoara and Timișș county, Hungarian cultural offer in the neighbouring areas of the Danube-Criș-Mureș-Tisa Euroregion and historical Banat (Arad and Hunedoara counties, Csongrad-Csanad and Bekes counties in Hungary, Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in Serbia), Hungarian cultural offer in Transylvania and at the last level the universal Hungarian cultural offer.
The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
