Also known as Studio UȚU, the small performance hall already has a rich history of performances and a consistent and dedicated audience. A former warehouse, a former regional station of a television station, Studio Uțu Strugari is a hall that the National Theatre has rediscovered in the Palace of Culture, on the top floor. Studio Uțu Strugari became usable after renovation works, so that the theatre now has a 50-seat black-box auditorium, adapted to contemporary theatre and experiments and also used for one man/woman shows.

Studio UȚU's size responds to the need for direct communication between actor and audience, the need for sincerity and precision in the theatrical act. By its location on the top floor of the Palace of Culture, the highest level, with exclusive access by steps, the National Theatre has associated Studio UȚU with a certain audience profile.
