Every building has a story and every inhabitant is part of the great constellation of the community in which they live. History, art and outer space will come together in a guided tour, facilitated by history teacher Adriana Bălaj.
We will start together from Gheorghe Doja Park. Each participant receives a booklet with certain tasks to note. Afterwards, we will discover the stories of the following buildings:
- Erno Neuhausz House
- Jakab Klein and Miklós Frecot Palace
- House of Marx Dezso
- Janos Hartlauer Palace
- House of Erno Fogl
- The house of Emil Szilard
- Adolf Neufeld House
We will focus on architectural elements that can be connected with outer space.
The purpose of the tour is to promote the local cultural heritage and promote the multicultural character of the city.
The activity does not require a participation fee, and the organizational costs are supported by the "Culture Space" project.
The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
