After the selection, processing and artistic presentation of archival documents, relevant to the almost a century history of the Pietatea Bănățeană Association, was carried out in the first stage of the project Laboratore Memoriei - Pietatea Bănățeană, in the second stage a dialogue with members will be initiated of the association.
Together with the artist Renée Renard (initiator of the concept of Memory Labs), they will choose significant photographs or documents from their personal history that they remember with joy: the wedding day, the birth of children, the first day of school, a family reunion or with colleagues, buying your first car, a nice vacation, receiving an award, etc.
Photo collages will be made, thus creating a visual and emotional mosaic of local micro-histories, integrated into a constantly changing macro-history that has left its mark on everyone's destiny.
The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
