The Blue-Green Timisoara project consists of a series of events, urban and artistic installations held on the Subuleasa Canal. The main purpose of the project is to facilitate the interaction between inhabitants and their surroundings, to allow crossing the water and focus the attention on the subtle elements of the immediate natural context. In partnership with the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism from Timișoara, a series of student projects will be exhibited. The projects aim to discover new ways of urban densification that both protect and capitalize on the local network of minor watercourses.
The event is part of the Timișoara 2023 - European Capital of Culture programme, funded by Timișoara City through the Center for Projects.
