The Nautical Sports Club Banat is an association established in 2012 with the aim of developing and promoting water sports in Timișoara, a city whose geography is closely tied to the Bega River, which naturally provides ideal conditions for practicing these sports.
The Nautical Sports Club Banat is consistent with its assumed objectives:
Developing athletic performance.
Discovering and nurturing young talents.
Representation in competitions related to water sports at local, regional, national, and international levels.
Educating athletes, both competitive and amateur, in an ecologically responsible manner by instilling and respecting values related to the protection and conservation of the environment as an integral part of sports ethics.
Inclusivity and openness for all social categories to engage in water sports, whether as a competitive sport or for leisure.
