Graffiti Triaj

Graffiti intervention under the foot of the bridge near the former Cigarette Factory, part of the TRIAJ project, a cultural ecosystem consisting of exhibition spaces, workshops, conferences, installations, guided tours and cultural interventions in neighbourhoods, grouped around a central event, which is the reopening in Timisoara of a reinterpreted version of the Holocaust Museum in Odessa, an institution that has not functioned since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. The project aims to activate the north-west area of Timișoara, between the Synagogue in Iosefin, the Bega canal quay and the bridge near the former cigarette factory, Gheorghe Pop de Băsești street up to the bus station next to the pedestrian footbridge, which crosses the railway yard at the North Train Station and ends in the area of  blocks of flats in the Blascovici district.

The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
