Have you ever imagined what Timisoara could look like 100 years from now?
The Opposite Perspectives - One Future project opens your eyes to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the context of globalization, internal migration, environmental pressures and war.
The artistic initiative combines CGI (computer generated imagery) digital art and music in a unique exhibition that captures images of iconic places in Timisoara: Metropolitan Cathedral, Unirii Square, Begai Embankment, Opera - Victoriei Square and Rozelor Park. Each of these places is presented in two future perspectives: utopian (optimistic) and dystopian (pessimistic), showing what Timisoara could look like in 100 years' time.
The first action of the project will take place at the City Celebration, when a CGI-animated work using the Bega riverbank as a representative place of Timișoara will be unveiled. The work will be exhibited in a public space in the city - in front of the Art House, offering a complex cultural experience, which will be mediated by Cristina Nagy, creator of the CGI inserts.
