Robert Bălan is a director, performer and cultural manager. He mainly works on projects that have a documentary or autobiographical basis. He is also a podcast author, coordinator and author of volumes of short prose, workshop coordinator and others. Among his performances we mention In the name of the Father by Elena Vlădăreanu (selected in FNT, SibFest, FEST – FDR Timișoara and others) and the end. work in progress - One man show (award for directing at the Bucharest Fringe). In 2021, he received the UNITER Award for Best Radio Show for the Insomnia podcast. The latest production is DreamZ, a show about the dreams and desires of contemporaries.
