Between 23-28 September we organized a series of art and science workshops for children from "Maria Brândea" Secondary School in Pesac, with the aim of supporting young artists and introducing them to the principles of transdisciplinary art.
𝐀𝐫𝐭 & 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, part of the 𝑆𝑐𝑖-𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒! project, is an alternative learning platform, consisting of art workshops led by professional artists, where children will have the opportunity to explore scientific concepts through photography, bio art, drawing and critical thinking. Thus, pupils participated in workshops in bio art, photography, critical thinking and exploring local heritage, each of which gave them new insights into the connections between different areas of knowledge.
Through the interdisciplinary approach, students had the opportunity to understand that both art and science contribute to the development of flexible and innovative thinking, capable of navigating the complexities of the contemporary world.
The 𝑆𝑐𝑖-𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒! educational program aims mainly at developing a complex and synergetic approach in the encounter between science and art. Through this approach, META Space facilitates Pesac School students' access to an interdisciplinary learning program and working sessions with specialists and researchers in the fields of art and science.
