Chronic desire – Sete cronică @Palatul Ștefania

The waves of contemporary hostility and weaponized climate today leave us thirsty for a vocabulary towards generative existence. From the civil rights and women’s liberation movements, art – as in images, language, forms, sounds – reveals ugly facts, raises awareness, and ignites united fronts.
“Chronic desire” is a set of instruments of looking, feeling, and writing, which can be useful tools for reading the brutal present. Art practices which can allow cutting in and cutting through history and address the current critical political and ecological moment.
