The band Koszika & The HotShots was formed in 2011 around the soloist Koszika, and since then it continues to colour the musical palette from Transylvania. Under the sign of multiculturalism and interculturality, they sing in at least 4 languages, mix distant genres such as bossa nova from Brazil with Hungarian folklore, gypsy music with reggae or slum rhythms with swing, all sprinkled with jazzy chords and funky rhythms.
The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
