Artists in Romania have often speak to us about their fight against injustice. They also told us that discrimination is the cancer of social life. They wear a double mask: mask of Savior (who try to do the best in a mad world) and mask of fantom (trying to have support for their mission).
The invisibility of people with disability, and also of migrant people, the Roma community, the various forms of alienation of which they are victims, currently represent the most massive invisibilization in social life. Our documentary offers a plunging vision.
Since 2014 Ana has been an artivist, an artist who fights for more social justice, to prevent violence against people who are invisible and have specific needs in the cultural space. This born Artivist does not question her project of offering art in all its forms and to all audiences, sometimes putting her life in danger. Even after recently receiving death threats for threatening the identity of Romanian culture, Ana finds gestures of solidarity practical when ideology and financial means are lacking.

She played as actress at the National Theatre in Montpellier from 1998 to 2010, Brecht, Chekhov, Fosse, Feydeau, Mitterer, Srbljanović, Shakespeare, Richter, Kacimi, Consolo, Courteline, (tours Eastern Europe): Norén, Racine, Molière, MA.Cyr. She participates in the collective creations Kalogeropoùlou, Renaude. She directs “Mady-baby.edu” by Gianina Carbunariu "Miss Julie # Soul Murder" by Moni Grégo after Strindberg, "In the desert, hope" philosophical performance for 6 artists, “a women assembly, today” after Aristophane at the PNT Jerusalem creation Nov 2021. She designs and performs: Belle du Seigneur by Albert Cohen and Une vie bouleversée by Etty Hillesum: Suis-je encore vivante after Grisélidis Réal. In 2010 she directed a 52' documentary with Laurent Rojol “Proust, Iasi, 2010” which was presented in Romania and France. In 2022 their 2nd documentary film”A Palestinian Women Assembly” (50’). In 2023 “Artists. Parcurs. 2023” Romanian documentary is their 3rd long-metrage (1’10).
Laurent Rojol – Artist, Movie Director
Since his adolescence, he has been fascinated by moving images and visual effects. In 2001, he met Julien Bouffier, within the company Adesso e Sempre, and created the videos for all his shows (Le début de l'A, L'échange, Remember the Misfits, Perlino Comment, Forget Marilyn, Les yeux rouges, Les Vivants et les Morts, Hiroshima Mon Amour,...).
