We invite you to the first children's workshop in the METAFORUM workshop series: SOCIAL INSECTS, where children will have the opportunity to develop their creativity and knowledge about the world of these small but intelligent and well-organised creatures in diverse and interesting societies.
The workshop will start with a guided tour adapted with Mirela Stoeac-Vlăduți in the installation Spațialități con(-)centrice by artist Liliana Mercioiu Popa, thus after a brief incursion among the first plant-animal life forms, children will have the opportunity to express their creativity, together with Loredana Nedelcu, inspired by the complex social structure of insects (ants, bees, termites) and how they work as a team to build their colonies, provide food and protect each other.

The workshop is recommended for children between 6 and 12 years old.
