Sci-art your life! It is an art and science program developed by META Spatiu and has the role of promoting contemporary artistic and scientific phenomena, but also of actively involving the people of Timisoara in their development. Perception and participation play an essential role in this program-platform that wants to become a cultural landmark for Timișoara, and its main purpose is to make visible the necessary processes and connections, obvious but difficult to reach for the general public. To achieve this result, the project aims not only to stage cultural products that combine scientific and artistic knowledge, but also to reveal the processes underlying this connection.
"Experiment! Don't interpret!” is the exhortation of the program, through which the participants have the opportunity to become co-authors of the cultural products made. The experiment, whether we are talking about the artistic or the scientific, is the conceptual basis of "Sci-art your life!" and challenges the participants to community involvement, to assuming the role of an active civic and social person and aware of the essential role he has in the development of Timisoara of the future.
The co-existence of disjunctive elements and the synthesis of common ideas in the areas targeted by the project is imperative for the opening of new ways of communication, multiple perspectives and the real exchange of ideas in the Timisoara community. The events proposed within the project explore various epistemological areas, from the scientific experiment to the artistic one, from the architectural construction models to the structural-social ones.
