Light and Music show | Light Structure Experiment

Sergiu Doroftei is a multimedia artist living and working in Bucharest. He graduated from the National University of Arts in Bucharest with a degree in the Department of Photography and Moving Image in 2005. Sergiu's art transcends conventional boundaries, encompassing video, photography, kinetic installations, soundscapes, reflections, and vibrations. With his immersive installations, he invites the visitors to embark on a journey where light merges with space, evoking emotions and providing a distinctive experience. Light Structure Experiment is a breathtaking fusion of art and technology, where a 3D canvas, defined by a 10x10 cm grid, is brought to life with dynamic light-emitting elements.

Sergiu Doroftei will collaborate with Bogdan Scoromide to create a multi-sensory experience through the interaction of light and sound, revealing unique soundscapes.

Bogdan Scoromide has a long history of organising events promoting sound and music experimentation, from electroacoustic-improv to techno music. As the creative mind behind Orgone Dealers, his catalog spans far beyond traditional music, embracing non-musical elements, noise, and sound art, all captured on vintage cassette tapes. For his tape collages he has been invited to prestigious festivals such as Mirage Festival, Irtijal, Music Unlimited, Konfrontationen and Rokolectiv. For our event, Bogdan Bogdan Scoromide will perform a musical performance materialized by a mix of audio material recorded exclusively on audio cassette.
