We are honored to have Alexandre Gefen as our special guest.

Alexandre Gefen is Director of Studies at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), Department of Theory and History of Modern Arts and Literatures, Professor at Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3, historian of ideas and literature. Author, among others, of the volumes Territoires de la non-fiction, Brill, 2020; Bestsellers. L'industrie du succès, Armand Colin, 2021 (in collaboration with Olivier Bessard-Banquy and Sylvie Ducas); The idea of literature. De l'art pour l'art aux écritures d'intervention, Corti, 2021; La littérature est une affaire politique, L'Observatoire, 2022.

Our host for this evening will be Vasile Popovici, who will guide the engaging and substantive discussions. The conference will be translated into Romanian, so that all participants can enjoy this experience fully.
