TM on Screen, TM on Scene: Reflect. Connect. Play continues, consolidates and expands the programme proposed by the WUT Foundation and the West University of Timisoara in the revised version of the Bid Book. The project revolves around theatre, film and the reflective exercises generated by these arts. The films about the past and present times of Timișoara were produced by the city’s residents. Theatre plays were directed in Timișoara for the community by young performers from Timișoara, guided by European artists. This project gives us the opportunity to reflect on the role of memory, a multicultural community, and on the role of these arts and how they bring together the whole society.
The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Inside Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
