Minitremu Art Camp #8: Sensitive Foray into the Landscape with Alex Ciobotă and Raluca Rusu (Studio Peisaj)

Alex Ciobotă and Raluca Rusu (landscape architects Studio Peisaj) propose that we see ourselves as part of a landscape, offering us tools to explore and understand the earth and nature, picking edible fruits, vegetables and flowers along the way.

"The proposed workshop starts from the conviction that the landscape is not a concept distant from people, but rather the landscape is here next to us and we are constantly in contact with it. The landscape envelops us - we are the landscape.

Through the exercise we debate immersively our contact with the landscape, using various tools to understand and sensitively reproduce the perception of the place by simply climbing a tree and describing the world seen from above, dancing in the sounds of the garden, through sketches and drawings, photography or poetry, through the taste of food and the richness of textures and colors of the fruit basket" - Studio Peisaj.

Minitremu Art Camp is a yearly contemporary art camp intended for theoretical, real or vocational high school students and students in their first years of college.
