Cultural mediator - Alexandru Higyed
Alex graduated from the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology in Timisoara, majoring in Romanian English, and has a Master's in American Studies. He is a performer, poet, and bookseller at the independent bookstore La Două Bufnițe and a member of the Contrasens Cultural Association. He has been at Nameless Street - On the Road in 2021. He has published a volume of poetry, Nothing Personal, with Casa de Pariuri Literare. He has participated in numerous performance and poetry projects, such as Synthetic Poetry 2 (2022) and the series of performative readings organized by the ArtEcounters Foundation. He is writing a PhD thesis on Performance Poetry as an interactive phenomenon. In addition to book writing, he coordinates the Commune 30 project, where he hopes to hear as many new voices in literature as possible.
