UKRAINIAN Workshops & Traditions

Appart from the concerts and activities that will animate Traian Square between July 7 and 8 at FABRICULTURA Second Edition, a PeriFAIRY TALE!, we are honored by a close partnership with FAINA UA Association, founded by Ukrainian refugees settled in Timisoara, who will enrich our cultural program with fragments of the customs, traditions and identity of this heroic people.

We will discover Ukraine together through film, music, gastronomy and traditional craftsmanship.
Therefore, we invite you on Saturday, July 8th, starting at 12 noon, to a series of workshops in which we will work together with Ukrainian artisans on objects from the tradition and folklore of this country.

The workshops will take place in the Ecoop Fabric multi-functional space, located right in the perimeter of Traian Square, a stone's throw (literally) from the festival area, according to the following schedule:

  • 14:00 - 15:30 - Motanka traditional doll making workshop
  • 16:00 - 17:30 - Traditional Bracelets Making Workshop
A workshop lasts about an hour and a half, we will have translators to accompany the instructors, and the maximum number of participants / workshop is 20 people.
