Seniors Timișoara brings together an interdisciplinary team from Bucharest, Timișoara and Krakow that will map the multi-ethnic and multi-confessional character of Timișoara and promote the values of the European capital of culture program to a very wide audience from Timișoara, nationally and from the diaspora.
The project brings together the resources and expertise of a broad partnership and lays the foundations of an original interdisciplinary approach, which is based on the history and organizational structure of the Pietatea Bănățeană Association (founded in 1929, over 11,000 members from Timișoara in 2023), with the Memory Labs methodology developed by Timișoara artist Renee Renard and with the interactive anthropological research methodology proposed by the ISCOADA team - an editorial platform for the popularization of research in anthropology and related social sciences in multimedia formats from Bucharest.
