FAPT is waiting for you at The German State Theatre in Timișoara, Tuesday, October 31, at 19:30, to discover elements of Raqs in a performance that combines oriental dance, LIVE music and contemporary dance - we 2 raqs.

Based on Raqs, the so-called belly dance or oriental dance, we 2 raqs negotiates and deconstructs orientalist and colonial image structures. Through the interpretation of  the dancers Dina Abdelhafez, The Darvish, Lia Pavlidis, Zadiel Sasmaz, Marilyn Nova White and their very different genres - oriental dance, tribal fusion, American tribal style, fusion, voguing, baladi and contemporary dance - a collective raqs body emerges in the choreographic performance.
