25 Hours of Non-Stop Theatre (13th Edition)

This year, the 13th edition will take place in Sibiu (September 23-24) and Timișoara (September 30-October 1), as part of the cultural program Timișoara - European Capital of Culture for 2023.

Renowned companies in the domestic theater landscape, such as Reactor (Cluj), Auăleu (Timișoara), Bis Teatru (Sibiu), Teatrul de Artă and Centrul Replika (Bucharest) will share the festival's stages with the youngest actors: the teenagers from Fabrica de Teatru from Sibiu and those from the Ferentari Association (PlayHood Project). Artists from: Bucharest, Cluj, Petroșani, Oradea, Timișoara, Sibiu will participate.

The program will include successful comedies such as Extraconjugal, the multi-award-winning production of the Bucharest Art Theatre, comedies with a social aspect such as Grand Hostel Timișoara by the AUĂLEU troupe (recently awarded at the UNITER Gala), alongside other shows well engaged in contemporary issues, such as The Dream the Reactor band (winner of the Radio Romania Cultural Awards) or Vinovat,-ă, a co-production Replika Bucharest – Beznă Theater London.

The Thespis band will not be missing from the program, which will play in memory of Diogenes Bihoi, in the middle of the theatrical night, right in the studio that bears his name.

Throughout the night, the Cuib D'Arte venue will host improvisation shows and musical performances, for the delight of a wide and diverse audience.

BIS Teatru will be part of the festival program both with this season's success, Anaz si Dragonul, and with its fetish shows: Born in '90 and Born in 2000. The film Born in Romania, which completes the BIS trilogy, will be broadcast online in the morning theatrical marathon.

The Timișoara edition, of a higher caliber and consistency than the one in Sibiu, will conquer spaces such as: the Hall of the German State Theatre, the Studio Hall of the Hungarian Theatre, the Multifunctional Hall of the Timiș County Council, CUIB d'Arte, the Hall of Concerts of Ion Vidu High School, Lelu Bihoi Studio, Scârț Loc Lejer, etc.

Many of the events will have free entry for the young public (pupils and students).

Tickets will go on sale online on August 31, 2023.

Also then, on the last day of August, the program of this double edition of the festival will be made public.
