The cultural initiative Celebrating Trouble - ChoreoCon hosted by the 4Culture Association strengthens and extends the national cultural programme Timisoara European Capital of Culture. Following a participatory method through different formats of engagement, this platform will present for 2 weeks different formats of residency artistic laboratory, workshops, stage performances and site-specific interventions, video screenings, international networking meetings, dedicated to both a professional and general public, with the aim of instigating critical thinking and expression in individual and collective artistic research approaches, while encouraging multidisciplinary perspectives of European collaboration and harnessing the potential of the arts to facilitate a sustainable development.
The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the European Echoes Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
