Our Stories, curated and implemented by Identity.Education, is the LGBTQIA+ community's way of sharing stories exactly as they have been and are being lived by members of the community. The goal is to reclaim history and develop innovative forms of storytelling. The LGBTQIA+ community has been hidden in and from history, subjected to invisibility for ideological reasons. Unfortunately, systemic discrimination still exists. Art and culture are the tools we use to tell our stories, to represent ourselves to bring about change, to develop our community and our group identity in a society that forces us to be our own historians and in which we still have to we fight for visibility and against discrimination.
