Current and upcoming exhibitions:

Nov 3-29 - H2O: Transition – multimedia installation, artist Livia Mateiaș (ENERGY! CdP scholarship). In the access pavilion.

Nov 21-29 - Paths Through the Forest – immersive installation drawings and collages, artist Sânziana Gheorghe (ENERGIE! CdP scholarship). In the Fountain Group.

Vernissage: November 21, 6:30 p.m

The Forest Roads project consists of an immersive installation with drawings and collages with fantastic characters from the Pine Forest, which represents a key concept of the artist's universe. In this installation, the Urseni UFO Building borrows the symbolic connotations of the Pine Forest and becomes an ambivalent space, both physical and allegorical, in which fantastic, semi-abstract characters appear and which viewers are invited to meet. At the opening of the exhibition, the public will be invited to participate in a collective performance type action /Let's make them talk!/ in which each person will be able to interact with the space and the characters according to the guidance of the artist.

The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
