The Stories of Timișoara aims to make the history of Timișoara a living resource for learning experiences in the classroom and outside it, through creative and cultural experiences, of students from two emblematic schools of the city, to bring this history back to life, through captivating stories and interactive that young people learn to say through words, images, digital tools, creating a bridge between the past, present and future, stimulating the interest of children and teenagers in the local cultural heritage.
The stories of Timișoara is the platform through which we carry forward and increase the heritage of the Cultural Capital 2023 by building around the projects Spotlight Heritage and The Parallel City, so as to create a bridge to the present, through practices that bring together in the process of co-creation, personal development and learning, children and teenagers from Moisil High School and 19th High School, Day Center "Sf. Nicolae" and students of the Timișoara Polytechnic University, in teams that reinterpret the stories of Timișoara.
This project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara European Capital of Culture in the year 2023" and is financed by the Power Station+ program | Creative schools, run by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with amounts allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
